About TamagoLab

Why "TamagoLab"?

Tamago is the Japanese word meaning ‘egg’, a little shell where the creativity seed grows.

It doesn't matter whether the Dow is 5000 or 50,000. If you're an entrepreneur, there is no bad time to start a company.

About me

I started as a fashion web editor doing some coding aside, passionate about user-centerd design, with the dream of making something personal and unique. After 3 years of work in the publishing sector in Italy, I bought a one-way flight to Tanzania, with the ambitious goal of learning how to be a better professional in a more challenging environment.

Urban Africa, in a period of technologic boom, became the field
where I developed my technical and business skills.

The fashion market, once again, offered me a first chance. I spent some months at a taylor's atelier in Dar Es Salaam, where I developed (seated on a carpet) my first 'real' interactive website for the local fashion week. At the end of that event, I've been found and hired by a communication agency, where I worked for 3 years. The way was finally open!

I've been around business incubators as volunteer trainer,
I held a seminar at a local university, I developed many websites and apps...

It has been a long way made of rewards and disappointments, fun and hard time. But a great opportunity came up in the end. I've been hired as web expert in an European Union project. I lived for one month in the rural communities of Pemba island, to build and information and educational platform based on web ans SMS.

I decided to go back home and turn my dream into reality,
after many years and adventures around the World.
